Advice for music volunteers
Music volunteers can play a valuable role in supporting music in care settings
To ensure you are offering music in a helpful way, talk with the care setting manager about how your musical offer could fit with their wider music provision. Have conversations about how you can work with them to support residents and staff.
For example, consider how would it fit with the music therapy programme or other performances such as weekly visits by the local school? If you are an individual volunteer, are there other local services you can link up with?
