Talented youngsters bringing dancehall days back at Beamish Museum

Chronicle Live: The music of Glenn Miller, Chubby Checker and Elvis will feature in a performance that promises to be among the most moving at this year’s Durham BRASS festival.
Entertaining the audience in Beamish Museum’s Welfare Hall – a centrepiece of its new 1950s Town – will be talented young actors and musicians, but the inspiration for Dancehall Days came from people living with dementia.
